John Jackson


Lieutenant John Jackson brings over sixteen years of dedicated service to the Celina Police Department. He began his journey as a reserve officer in 2007 and quickly transitioned to a full-time officer in 2008. Prior to joining the police force, Lt. Jackson served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years, participating in significant missions during the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and contributing to operations in Haiti in 2004. After leaving the military, he worked with private companies, training military and law enforcement units, and even played a role in the rescue efforts during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Within the Celina Police Department, Lt. Jackson has excelled as the lead instructor and was instrumental in establishing the Special Response Team (SRT). Currently serving as the administrative lieutenant and SRT commander, Lt. Jackson's extensive experience and unwavering commitment make him a valuable asset to the department.
