National Music Day is an annual celebration when people in more than 1,000 cities around the world make music together to celebrate the summer solstice. The program began in 1982 and has since grown to an international event with millions of musicians of all styles, ages, and skills using their cities as stages to spread music and joy to their communities. More on the international movement can be found on Make Music Day’s website.
In Celina, we will be celebrating with live music available for free throughout the day at various locations in Downtown. You can follow the facebook event for day-of details, which will be released later in June.
We are seeking both host sites (businesses, open spaces, etc) and musicians interested in the opportunity to partake in this event. Host sites complete the following form. If you are a musician interested in sharing your talent, please complete the form here.
